So in addition to starting a Project 52 this year, I have also decided to try participating in a Blog Circle. I'm still trying to figure out how this works, but I'm excited to have another opportunity to take pictures (for me) and showcase them. This month's theme was "My Life"...

The Hyde Family, Downtown Grapevine

I met the Hyde family this morning at Downtown Grapevine for some Christmas pictures. I can go on and on about how much we love this family and how lucky we are that our boys are (and hopefully always will be) best friends, but I'll just get to the pictures instead. :-)

The Chick Family, Grapevine Botanical Gardens

This morning I met the Chick Family at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens (which is becoming one of my favorite photo locations, plus it's freakin' free!) for some family pics. This family has such an amazing story and I'm so glad I was able to catch up with Lauren for a bit. Thomas was such a trooper and one of the happiest kids I've ever met...he definitely gets his big heart and warm spirit from his mommy and daddy.

ClickinWalk 2013: Dallas

This past Saturday was ClickinWalk 2013 and with this being my 1st year participating, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I have to say, it was so much fun meeting up with some local "momtogs" and just walking the campus of SMU and snapping some shots of whatever sparked our interests. Dinner afterwards was full of photog/mommy talk and it was so great to hear others stories I could completely relate to ("You know, it's just so hard to edit sessions with a toddler climbing your lap trying to steal your laptop!"). Until next year...

The Marrs Family, Frisco

I met the Marrs Family at Frisco's Central Park for some quick family pics. I was so worried about the rain getting in the way of our session when I really should've been worried about the sprinklers! They didn't get in our way too much, however sitting on a wet lawn was completely out of the question. We still managed to get some great shots of their super cute family!

And for being so patient, I let Olivia take a picture with my camera...pretty stinkin' good!
